Terms of Service

Last updated: 7 July 2026

These terms cover using the Aussie Ivrit website, its free tools (dictionary, flashcards, verb conjugator, quizzes, keyboard), and any account you create. This is a template — replace the bracketed placeholders with your real details and have it reviewed against Australian Consumer Law and the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) before relying on it for a live site, particularly once real user accounts and emails are involved.

Who we are

Aussie Ivrit is operated by [your business/organisation name]. For any questions about these terms, contact [your contact email address].

Using the site

Aussie Ivrit is provided as a free Hebrew-learning resource. You're welcome to use the lessons, dictionary, flashcards, verb conjugator, quizzes and keyboard tool for personal, non-commercial learning. Content on this site — including the lesson text, dictionary entries and quiz questions — is provided for individual use and shouldn't be republished elsewhere in bulk without permission.

Accounts

Creating an account is optional and is only needed to save flashcard progress, bookmark dictionary words, and keep a history of quiz results. You're responsible for keeping your password secure and for anything that happens under your account. You can stop using your account at any time; contact us if you'd like your account and associated data deleted.

Accuracy of content

We take real care to keep the Hebrew content on this site — grammar, vocabulary, verb conjugations and translations — accurate, and prioritise correctness over convenience (for example, avoiding algorithmically generated verb conjugations in favour of hand-checked ones). That said, this is a learning resource, not a certified translation or academic service, and it's provided "as is" without a guarantee that every entry is error-free. If you spot something wrong, please let us know — corrections are genuinely welcome.

Acceptable use

Please don't use the site to attempt to disrupt its operation (including the admin panel or any account login), scrape content at scale, or submit spam through the contact form or newsletter signup. Automated abuse may result in your access being blocked.

Third-party links and tools

Some pages link to external resources (universities, exam boards, government sites, and similar). We don't control those sites and aren't responsible for their content or availability.

Changes to the site or these terms

The site's content and features may change over time, and these terms may be updated to reflect that. The "last updated" date above reflects the most recent revision.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Aussie Ivrit is provided without warranties of any kind, and [your business/organisation name] isn't liable for any loss arising from your use of the site. Nothing in these terms excludes any consumer guarantee that can't lawfully be excluded under Australian Consumer Law.

This is a starting template As with the Privacy Policy, have these terms reviewed by someone familiar with Australian Consumer Law before publishing the site publicly — particularly the accounts, liability and content-accuracy sections above.
